America and Canada Beauty Haul

Ok so you may or may not know but over the last few couple of weeks I was away visiting family in Canada because one of my cousins got married. So whilst I was there I took advantage of the opportunity and went shopping quite a few times to shops and places that I hadn't been to and that we don't get back in the UK. So here are a few of the things I picked up from different shop and I shall try and write the prices of each item aswell and maybe even a link as to where you can get them from if like me you live not in the states or Canada.

So first off I went to Bath and Body which if you didn't know this is a shop that sells things such as body lotion, body wash, hand sanitizers, candles and body mist. So when I walked into the shop I saw these really cute hand sanitizers and because some of my friends are a bit obsessed with them I thought I would pick some up because it would make a perfect present and they were on sale in America for $6 for 5 and in Canada 3 for 5$. I think they are really cute and smell super nice.
Ok so this next few products are also from Bath and Body Works. They were 3 for 12$ (American dollars) so that's really good and they are a good size so they make me extremely excited. As you can see I already have a matching "mad about you" hand sanitizer which meant of course I had to get the spray too. The two pink ones are very sweet floral scent where as the red one called A Thousand Wishes is more of a musty scent. I can't wait to use them.
Next up we have 2 EOS lip balms and 2 hand creams which were 3$ per lip balm and 2$ per hand lotion. I got these from Dollarama in Canada. I love the EOS lip balms and have always wanted to get them however they are a lot more expensive in England. I also wanted to buy them for one of my best friends because she loves beauty almost as much as I do.

So next up we have these secret deodorants which smell beautiful we also don't really get these in England and they are what my mum introduced me to. For these types of deodorant when I buy them they are around £4-£5 but in Canada in Walmart they were under 3$ which was amazing! They also last a long time and they also come in a gel formula but I prefer this more powdered one.

So next up is a palette I have been wanting ever since it came out however it only came out in America and Canada. It's the blushed nudes palette by Maybelline and I have the Nudes palette which is a good palette but the more rosy tones are more my colours and even the cashier said what beautiful colours they were. I love the fact they include mattes and shimmer shades it's an amazing palette and some of the colours remind me of the naked 3 palette so this might be an affordable dupe. I may have to test them out side by side and compare them.

So the next two products are ones I am super excited about which is the GlamGlow travel size mud mask and the makeup setting spray by urban decay which is also a travel size. They were around 20$ each but because they are quite expensive products so getting a travel size can mean I can test them out before splurging out on them.

So next us was this Time to Prime Sephora Favourites this seemed like such a good idea to test all the products. It includes some really great ones however it includes a hair primer which I didn't even know was a thing. It's a good value for money I feel however I'm not feeling happy with the nail base coat because you can get these cheaply.

Next we have the Too Faced Most Loved and they have some great samples and I love this brand so it was great to get small set of their products. It even includes the better than sex mascara which I have really wanted to try for a while now.

Next I thought I would try some sort of Sephora face masks so I got the sleep ones because I hadn't heard of them before. I got two different ones to try and if you would like to know how I got on with them and more of a review just let me know in the comment section below.

Ok so this was my haul and if you would like to see a full review let me know below! See you guys on the next post.

Unboxing | Birchbox August 2015

Hey guys! So I'm back from my holiday and I came back to see that my birchbox had been delivered! So I thought I would quickly review this for you guys as I have neglected my blog for about a week (whoopsie sorry!). So here is the box which is yet again a cute box which has lots of different symbols such as a hairdryer and a smiley face.

So I opened it up and it looks like this with the little draw string bag. So as soon as you open it up you can you get the little booklet that has all the products in it. Then underneath you get a cute little pack of stickers which I thought was such a great idea and a great lifestyle bonus.
So this is what it looks like inside box and there's quite a few things that I like the look of so I think we should dig in quickly before I burst with excitement!
Ok so the first thing I got was this Over Night Success Spot Minimizing Patches by Formula 10.0.6. It's a full size product and retails for £2.95 and if this works I definitely would consider buying more as I do seem to have acne prone skin unfortunately and am always looking for new ways to help minimize them. The only thing I would say is that it looks rather small and you may have to use multiple for multiple spots. It's quite cool that you can use it overnight though.
So next up is this Lord and Berry blush in the shade Lotus. I have heard such great things about this brand and when the sneak preview on instagram showed this product I was extremely excited. So the blush came like this and I'm not quite sure how I am going to store it but it's quite cute and isn't a colour I would have picked however it is definitely something I am willing to try. The full size product is £17 so I would really have to like it to purchase it.
Ok so next up is this theBalm bronzer/blush. This again is a cute sample and I love the packaging the front part is magnetically connected so that's really cool. I would probably use this more as a bronzer rather than a blush just because of the colour. I am honestly so excited to use this and if I do like it I may consider buying it as it is £15.
Next up is the Huygens exfoliating cream. It's a good size sample and you only use a coin-sized amount each time I'm not sure about the smell personally I don't feel like I like the smell but someone else may really like it. It says that it purifies without irritation so that is definitely something I would like to have in my skincare routine. The full size of this product would cost around £17.50.
Next up we have a Kebelo clarifying shampoo. I'm not sure how I feel about receiving shampoo samples just because I have so much hair and so the samples last me maybe one or two washes at most. It is £13.95 for a full size which to me doesn't seem quite worth it for a shampoo however it depends how it makes my hair.
So lastly what we have the Rituals Ayurenda Scrub which has Indian Rose and Multani Clay. It smells really nice and Rituals is supposed to be a good make and so I am looking forwards to using it. The packaging is really cute and it is a good size sample because it is about the size of something that comes in a gift set.
So that was my birchbox and I have got to say this might just be my favourite one so far. If you got this months birch box please tell me what your favourite product was and if you would like a full review on anything leave a comment below and I will try and do that for you. See you on my next post!

Summer nails

I don't know about you but when it comes to summer I love painting my nails in pretty colours. So here are a few designs I have tried out. I find that your nails can sometimes be not only pretty but can be a way to express yourself.

So here is the first one and they are butterfly wings. These take forever to do I shan't lie to you because I do the ombré nail underneath then taken the black and created the wing and finished it off with the wire dots. I love this design it's one of my favourites and if you would like a tutorial on any of the nail designs I've created just leave a comment below.

Ok so this next one is a pretty blue and purple ombré nail. I really like these colours they are perfect colours I feel for summer. I just kind of experimented and these seemed to work. That's ta the key I guess is experimentation.

Lastly I have these pink and gold nails. I'm not sure if you can see the but the pink is actually matte coated and the pink is such a cute colour from nails inc called fizz.

So this is just a few designs I created and if you would like to see more or have a tutorial on them please let me know in comments and I will try my best to do that for you.

Unboxing | Glossy Box July 2015

Hey guys! So I have another unboxing for you! I'm so excited especially as I have seen all the little previews on instagram that Glossybox have been putting out. This months theme is "vive la france" and I have to say the box looks so cute.
Look at the top it's got all the famous moneuments in Paris. I will definitely repurpose this box because it is too cute not to! The back of it looks like this (to the left) and is so detailed and makes the box that but more special because they have gone that extra mile to add detail to the bottom!

So this is what the box looks like inside with the tissue paper and ribbon however it's a different colour because of the new theme. There is even little details inside the lid and hats off to glossy box because they have put so much effort into it.

So I just opened it up and all the products are in this super cute translucent bag! I absolute love it because it looks amazing and I can use it when I travel.

So the first thing I picked out is this Magnificant Enhancing Serum boost. Not only does it have a cute pink packaging but it is a large sample size. I'm not sure it is something I would normally go for however I am super excited to give it ago.
Next up we have this
Delicieuse lip balm which is delicious! I have had this the last few days and have been trying it and it tastes amazing and has made my lips super soft.

Next up we have this perfect skin refiner. I can't wait to try this and the packaging is good because it has a pump which I haven't seen before but looks cool and looks like it will be really useful.

So last thing we got was this Evidence perfume.  love it because it smells amazing. Usually I'm not sure about perfume samples because they are usually small but this is a big sample and smells amazing.

So that was my Glossy Box! I completely fell in love with my box and would love to know if you got one and if you did what was your favourite thing in it or if you didn't what you would like about it?

Unboxing | Birchbox July 2015

It's that time again! Time for another unboxing, well I say unboxing except this month as you may or may not know BirchBox decided to change it from a box to a bag just for this month. Birch Box is a monthly subscription service that costs £10 without delivery so all together it comes to around £13.

So this is what all the products look like outside the bag there seems to be quite a few products in it and I see a few cute little products that I can't wait to take a closer look at. The bag is also a nice tough from birchbox I might have preferred a pink or turquoise one but it's still cute.

So the first thing I pick out is this cute trio of POP eye shadows called Peach Parfiat. They come in a white, orange and brown shades. They are really pigmented shadows when I swatched them. The packaging is super cute and the flowers on the front make it a nice little palette. I'm travelling soon and so this will be perfect for travelling. It's a sample size however a full size product would cost £15.50.

Next thing we got was this Soigne Nail Lacquer which was full size and worth £11. I like the colour of the nail lacquer however it seems you need a couple of coats as it appears to be sheer. The packaging is really cute and is a rather large bottle.

Next we have this Benefit Dream Screen which is sun screen for the face it's a 6ml bottle and the packaging is so cute. I loved the fact that we got a benefit sample as I love the brand. This is a sample size but a full size would cost £25 so to get a sample is good as it is quite an expensive product to buy without sampling.

Next is this UNANI body treatment with aloe vera. If you get a sunburn this should help as aloe vera is known to be soothing on the skin. It's a good sample size and is great to throw in a beach bag with a towel. Or great for keeping in a bed side drawer for when you get home and your skin isn't feeling great.

The Spa To You nail buffer is another full size product and is worth £4.99 personally I am not thrilled about this product because I have many of these in my draw that I personally don't use however it's a nice bonus beauty extra.

Lastly we received this Indemne Eau de Genie which is an organic skin spritz. It is a birchbox exclusive and looks like it is a good sample size. It's not something I personally would buy however it's nice to try something new. The smell is quite nice but something special. I don't think I will buy this again but it's nice to try.

So this is my July birchbox I enjoyed going through it. If you got this box what did you think? Or if you didn't get this months edition what would your favourite product have been?

Hunting the Best Drugstore Palettes | BarryM starry eyed

So this is the Starry Eyed Shadow and Blush Palette by Barry M. Usually when I think of the brand Barry M I think of nail varnish as that is usually what I purchase from them however they have recently brought out these eye shadow palettes so I thought why not try one of them. This one is limited edition and may be sold out however I have seen it in TKMaxx so there are still some out there. I purchased it because I fell I love with the purple colour in the palette and the blush was such a pretty coral colour.

So here is what the palette looks like when it is opened. The packaging is cardboard so you have to be carful not to damage it in anyway. It does have a quite large mirror which is always a good feature. It came with 2 plastic applicators. This is kinda good because I always end up loosing them however I do prefer to use my Real Techniques brushes now. I might be a little scared to travel with it just because it is cardboard and I wouldn't want to squash it by chucking it in my suitcase.

So these are the colours close up. Like I said before I really like the purple sparkly colour. There is a mix of shimmer and matte shades. However I am not sure how to use the red brick colour. The gold does look nice though and isn't too yellow like a lot of other golds I have come across.

Lastly I have swatched colours below, the matte shades seem a lot more pigmented then the shimmer shades and the blush wasn't very pigmented. The gold does look very nice when it was switched so I am going to have to play around with that and test it out a bit more and create some looks with it. I feel that thus palette will definitely be more of a night time palette.
